Just a rainy week in CALIFORNIA

I have truly been neglecting this blog of late.  Even though I have all the time in the world to "journal" some thoughts...  It's been a difficult thing to accomplish since this season of surgery to be so open and monotnous redundant with so little going on daily that is different to report.  I have P/T most weeks twice and do some stretching at home.  But it's mostly just "waiting" for bone growth in the joint to occur and take it easy.  I do some WII training, and ice!

My laptop is once again in for the final repair or be replaced and so I don't want to download my Canon camera software on Shanes laptop to download pictures.. no idea when the computer will be released from the third Geek Squad attempt in the process.   So my Christmas letter/pictures that were to become a New Years letter might not get printed onto the paper and sent out afterall..   Feeling a little off kilter with "waiting" for an appointment time on someones computer.

The only new thing going on here is that I have been hibernating at home this week.  The rain is pretty consistent, strong winds, and our company that was here for a few days have gone up north this week and it is quiet here at home.  Of course, other than the boys playing as much xbox as possible together, Yesterday they holed up in the garage putting a new exhaust system on one of his dirt bikes and waiting for a fuel injector to be shipped to Brian here for his diesel truck.

It's 2:30 pm and I have progressed into a pair of jeans and my robe... oh well. I'm up at least..

Last night we watched the victory speech of (R) Scott Brown who was elected to take over the seat of the deceased Ted Kennedy who held that seat for 47 looooonnng years.  It will make a change in the politics currently going on and having gone on for centuries.  An ideal scenario would be that the other 99 in the senate seats would all be overturned with new servant minded citizens who would be "of the people, by the people and for the people" if they are not. And revise there civil servant benefits in pension, that they receive social security and health benefits to be like the american people receive.  That ought to make attrition to only those interested in the good of the country and no underhanded politics to continue.  Reduce spending first priority nationwide....

Well enough rambling... what to make for dinner on a rainy night???

Two Men in Their Suits

These pictures today are of Greg and Shane in their new suits. Now mind you, it took me alot of cajolling to get them to take a picture after having picked them up. After taking a couple of pictures, they began to kid around.. okay Shane was kidding around right from the get go and the first pic is indicative of that, but they are handsome. Brian wondering why he too didn't get a new suit.. hmm well, because we thought he still fit into the one in his closet, but now know that he fit into it in high school..... but for now, enjoy these pictures.
Shane cannot just stand still

but when he does.....

dressed to kill

All the ties to choose from before went to find the suit... didn't really need one...

Shanes new white shirt/ tie on the left is for a first interview, and the Blue shirt for a second interview (with recycled tie options)

Gregs new shirt and tie

walaa.. don't they just look handsome

let the kidding between them begin

Doesn't flinch when the Shanester starts to taunt!

ready for that first interview at a moments notice

And this guy is just handsome and ready for the event requiring a suit!
